Enjoy a Healthier New Year in 2009!
Want to give yourself and your loved ones the best Christmas present ever?
The greatest joy in my life is my family. I haven't been able to live near them for more than a decade, but I cherish them more than anything else in the world.
During the last 6 years, my father has suffered with a stroke and my mother has battled cancer. Their suffering has really made me appreciate even more the blessings of good health.
Since then, I've studied natural inner health in order to learn as much as I can about keeping the body as healthy as possible naturally.
The most important lesson I've learned is that God made the body to heal itself and fight off disease. It's amazing what our bodies can do if they are given the nutrition, vitamins, minerals, and herbs to build and maintain healthy cells.
Last week a friend of ours was killed in a car accident. She was only 36 years old and left behind a husband and 3 young children. It's truly a heartbreaking situation.
In her situation, her death wasn't the result of poor health, but it made me think about how my family would feel if I died, or how I'd feel to lose one of them.
I'm not afraid to die. I'm "ready" to meet the Lord whenever He chooses because I've had my heart cleansed through faith in Christ. Still, my death would impact my family greatly.
How would your family cope if you were suddenly taken from them? It's a sobering thought, isn't it? The best gift you could give your family this Christmas is to take care of your health!
Yes, I'm a bit of a fanatic about it at times. I'm always recommending natural remedies to my family and friends every time they get a sniffle. I ply my parents with whole food supplements to help keep their bodies fueled with good nutrition, live enzymes, vitamins, and minerals.
I "encourage" my patient husband to take his Herbal Fiberblend regularly to keep his colon healthy. I hand him a handful of vitamins and herbs (like Reassure) each morning to reduce his risk of prostate cancer and keep his immune system as strong as possible.
In short, I do what I can to promote good health in my family, and then I leave the rest in the hands of the Lord.
What about you?
The Christmas season is a time when we all tend to overindulge a bit. Do you love all the extra goodies you can allow yourself to enjoy to excess without guilt during the holidays? Do they make you feel slightly ill, bloated, and in need of a good cleanse when it's all over? It's fun while it lasts, isn't it?! However, you don't want to pay down the road.
Indulge, yes! But balance the scale by taking good care of yourself when the holiday is over.
I encourage you to make a decision this year to make a few small changes in the coming year that can drastically improve your health and possibly give you a longer life to spend with your loved ones.
What can you do?
- Start the year off with a good colon cleanse. Disease and poor health usually begin in the colon. It's important to keep your colon as healthy as possible.
If you suffer from constipation, IBS, or other digestive health issues, or even if you 'seem' perfectly healthy like I do, a good spring clean will help your body remove excess toxins, parasites, and old fecal matter from your system.
Buy 3 pots of Herbal Fiberblend and commit yourself to a full intestinal cleanse.
- Make it a habit to give your body whole food nutrition. Maybe you are someone who grows their own vegetables and eats them fresh from the garden. Good for you! Most of us don't.
I'm often in great doubt about the nutritional value of the supposed "fresh" food I buy from the local grocery store. Of course, there is pretty much NO real nutritional value in processed foods!
If you are like me and need extra help in getting good solid nutrition from organically grown raw fruits and vegetables, take advantage of whole food supplements.
The Garden Trio and Leaf Greens are my back up plan. They allow me to be sure that I and my family get a good dose of nutrition each day with little extra effort.
Good nutrition boosts the immune system and allows your body to build healthy cells. It's really priceless.
- Drink more healthy water. Decide this new year to drink more healthy water than you have been. That's my goal, too.
Notice I said "healthy" water. I'm not referring to bottled water. First of all, bottled water is rarely healthy, and secondly, it's outrageously expensive. Let's not even discuss all those plastic bottles!
A couple of months ago I bought my parents a new countertop water filter from Aquasana. My mom loves it and I know that they are getting good quality water for only .10 cents per gallon.
Order the Gift of Health for you and your family this Christmas!
Because of the holidays, the offices will be closed from December 25 - January 5. Please place your order before December 23 to be sure you receive it in time for the new year.
Please accept my best wishes for a very blessed Christmas season and a new year full of blessings and good health!

P.S. How are you coping with the financial crunch we are experiencing around the world in recent days? One of my solutions has been to build an 'extra' income online in my spare time.
If it's an option you would like to consider, I highly recommend the SiteBuildIt program I've been using. I had no experience whatsoever, but they take you by the hand and help you build a genuinely viable business. If that sounds good to you, check them out.
