ACV Detox Healing Crisis Symptoms
When following an ACV Detox, "Healing Crisis" symptoms will probably occur. Be prepared!
Most of the comments discussed here are symptoms of what is called a Healing Crisis. If you are not familiar with the healing crisis, you may want to do an internet search to get a detailed description of the condition.
Briefly these symptoms are:
Diarrhea
Extreme fatigue and/or its opposite, restlessness
Cramps
Headache (believed to be caused by buildup of toxins in the blood)
Aches, Pains
Arthritic flair up
Insomnia
Nausea
Sinus congestion
Fever (usually low grade) and/or chills
Frequent urination and/or urinary tract discharges
Drop in blood pressure
Skin eruptions, including: boils, hives, and rashes.
Cold or flu-like symptoms
Strong emotions: anger, despair, sadness, fear, etc.
Suppressed memories arise
Anxiety
Mood swings
New phobias develop
If you believe that you are having an ACV detox healing crisis, this is a very good thing even though you feel really bad.
You will just either need to ride it out or reduce the amount of ACV you take. Only you will know intuitively what is best for you ... it is important that you listen to your body.

Hi Sue,
Thanks for sharing your tips on the symptoms some people may experience while doing a detox with organic apple cider vinegar.
In truth any type of detox can bring on a healing crisis. As you noted, it's important to recognize the difference between symptoms that are the result of an unhealthy condition, and symptoms that are part of your body's reaction to a swift detox. This is generally referred to as "The Herxheimer Reaction."
You're quite right that monitoring your body's reactions and adjusting the amount of apple cider vinegar is the best course of action to take.
Since most people lead pretty busy lives and don't feel they have the time to be "feeling ill," I always recommend starting with a smaller dose and gradually increasing to give your body a chance to adjust.
Thanks again for your kind input.
Blessings,
Angie from allaboutparasites.com
