Breaking Out In Lesions
by Suffering in Kentucky
(Ludllow, KY)
I have been breaking out in lesions that are usually shaped the same size and that suddenly appear mainly on the front side of my body and I also have anus itching.
I moved into my apartment in which I'm living in now in 6/09. Ever since I have lived here, I have been breaking out in lesions.
The lesions proceeded to get so extremely bad that worse become to worse because I was covered with these lesions so so bad it probably, taking a wild guess, took up to an hour to count how many of these "nasty whatever they were" on my body.
My Psychiatrist has been the main physician that's been treating for this problem by prescribing me cream, medicines etc. and I still at the present time have them, but not an extreme case versus before.
I have done research about parasites over a course of a couple of months and what is so frightening is some of the pictures I have seen and literature I've read, has me confused as to what this could be linked to, simply because a few of the pictures and literature I've obtained through various websites look familiar to what I may have.
I have an appointment to go see a Family Doctor on Jan.12 @ 9:45 because I currently do not have a Primary Doctor as my Psychiatrist is the only Doctor that has been trying help me figure out by ordering a series of tests just to determine what the real problem can be.
He currently has me taking Doxycycline plus I've not been scraping the scabs off like I was when I was broke out with the lesions extremely bad a couple of months ago.
I have all intentions to go to see this Doctor on Jan. 12 so she and my Psychiatrist can figure out if the problem is parasitic related or what.
Now also a few months ago I found black mold behind my sink in my kitchen. Would this have anything to do with me breaking out in lesions because I do know I am allergic to any kind of mold amongst other household allergens?
I'm just so discouraged. This has affected my self esteem. I have isolated myself to the outside world and all I want to do is lay around and proceed to do nothing as whatever the problem is it has also caused me to become sick with headaches, bloating, nausea, rectal itching, and fatigue and constipation.
HELP PLEASE, if anyone, preferably a specialist, would be able to come up with some answers for me concerning this matter, I would be ever so grateful.
I forgot to mention I started taking Suboxone also in June of 2009. Could this be the reason why I am still breaking out?
or "Dear GOD" is this parasites? How can I tell if they are parasites or an allergic reaction to some of the medications my Psychiatrist has prescribed to me?
Now because of this problem that has occurred with me, it has affected me, mentally and physically. Answers would be truly and graciously appreciated.
Truly Yours,

Dear Suffering in Kentucky,
First of all, let me say that I
am very sorry to hear about what you have been going through the last several months. I'm sure breaking out in lesions and the additional symptoms have been very stressful.
I am NOT a specialist, but I'd like to help you if I am able.
It is quite possible that the mold in your kitchen and elsewhere in your apartment is the initial cause of you breaking out in lesions. If it is possible for you to move out of that apartment, I would certainly do so. Even without your sensitivities to mold and other allergens, mold in the home usually leads to illness.
Unfortunately, it's also a possibility that the suboxone is contributing to some of your symptoms. The side effects of that drug can be quite unpleasant and include some of the symptoms you mentioned, like headaches, nausea, constipation, and fatigue.
Because you also describe anal/rectal itching, bloating, etc., you almost certainly are dealing with some form of parasite now, too.
It's quite possible that both the medication you are taking and the mold are working together to put your body in such a toxic state that you can't seem to get relief and your are breaking out in lesions as a result.
The body does the best job it can to deal with all the toxins that it is exposed to. When the other organs can't process and eliminate the toxic waste fast enough, our skin usually ends up taking the brunt of the leftovers and rashes, sores, lesions, etc., can be the result.
I would strongly recommend an internal cleansing to help your body with this overload. Try taking
Herbal Fiberblend twice per day for 3 months or so to help your body get rid of parasites and toxins safely and naturally.
Secondly, take probiotics every day. This is especially important since you are taking antibiotics. The antibiotics will destroy much of the good bacteria in your body that your body needs to help fight against parasites, infections, bacteria, etc.
Florafood is a good quality combination of probiotics for this purpose.
Also, make a real effort to watch what you eat. Cut back on the sugar in your diet. Sugar feeds parasites and makes it more difficult for your body to fight back. Eat as healthy as you can until you are no longer breaking out in lesions and these other digestive problems are under control.
If you are looking for something safe to put on your skin to help with the drying up and healing of the lesions, consider raw apple cider vinegar. ACV can sting if you put it on straight on the open sores, but you can probably stand it easily enough in your bath water and it will help with the healing process. Just be sure that the apple cider vinegar you use is raw, organic, and unfiltered. Look for Bragg's brand. You can usually find it at your local grocery store or health food store.
I hope your appointment tomorrow goes well. Please do let us know how it turns out, why they feel you are breaking out in lesions, and if we can be of any further help.
To your good health!Angie
