Colon cancer prevention is something that we can actively be doing NOW.
A lot of it is really just common sense. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to work it out.
Cancer, of any kind, is very hard to cure. I have read many theories about how we can "cure cancer."
It's all very confusing and there are so many different options that it's difficult to know which path to follow.
My heart aches for those who have to make the choices.
However, I do believe that there is something better than curing colon cancer. It is colon cancer prevention. Prevention is far better than cure.
I know that genetics play a part, but in a nutshell, I believe it all boils down to lifestyle.
A friend of mine went to the doctors the other day and was told that a tumor that she has in the bowel is malignant. In the space of 8 weeks it has doubled in size and worse still, it looks like the cancer has spread to the bone.
She has known about the cancer for nearly a year, and has tried various natural remedies, so far refusing to have any chemo or radiation. At one stage, I thought that the Lord had healed her, but it doesn’t look too good now.
I started thinking about the whole situation. For the past 10 months, she has cut out all sorts of foods that she’s been told are no good for her. She’s drunk this and that, followed a very strict regime of powders and potions, and spent a great deal of money on things that might “work” to kill the cancer.
Prior to this, for over 60 years, the only water she drank was in tea or coffee. She consumed white bread, white flour, white rice and pasta, and refined sugars. She patronized fast food outlets, cooked her meals in a microwave, and generally lived the easy life, with very little exercise to speak of, and no thought or care for the health of her colon.
Often it takes years for our colons to get into such a state. They are encrusted with food wastes, and they become breeding grounds for innumerable parasite worms. Eventually, we are riddled with cancer.
With all this is mind, what right have we to expect a “quick fix?”
Colon cancer prevention is simple. According to British health reporter Phillip Day, four main areas need to be addressed:
These things need to be woven into the fabric of our lives from when we are young. It is no good “shutting the door when the horse has bolted!” We need to educate our children, our friends, our parents. Anyone and everyone is susceptible to colon cancer. What will it take for you to sit up and listen?
Let's take an in depth look at what you can do to prevent colon cancer.
To your good health!
