Can you do a colon cleansing on antibiotics?
Hi,
I've never used the cleansing for the colon. Is this product good for me? I am on antibiotics.
Can you please give me more info. I've got the parasites.
Thanks!
My name is Pat.
Hi Pat,
I see you didn't check the box to be notified when your question is answered, so I do hope you remember to come back and look for the answer to your question about colon cleansing while on antibiotics.
Yes, I personally believe it is perfectly fine to do a colon cleanse or parasite cleanse while you are taking antibiotics. Of course, I can't speak for all the brands of colon cleansing products, but it's fine to use AIM's
Herbal Fiberblend for this purpose.
You'll need to take the Herbal Fiberblend at least one hour away from the time you take the antibiotics (or any other medication) so that the one doesn't interfere with the other (or you'll waste your money). :)
This is something else REALLY IMPORTANT that you need to know when taking antibiotics. Antibiotics can't tell the difference between the good bacteria and the bad bacteria in your body, so it attacks both.
Any time you have to take antibiotics you must take probiotics as well to replenish the good bacteria that is being destroyed by the antibiotics.
If you don't, you will simply weaken your immune system and allow whatever problem you are dealing with to come back and/or other problems to develop (like yeast infections, parasites, and so much more).
Please DO take some good quality probiotics while you are using the antibiotics and for a few weeks afterward. I like
Florafood, which is also an AIM product, so you can grab that along with the Herbal Fiberblend when you order.
Since you are in Canada, you'll have to use the
Canadian order form.
Please let me know if I can be of any further help. To your good health!
