Migraines

I am 23 and I have been suffering from migraines for 7 years now. Can you please help me solve this problem?
Dear Leilatu,
Have you noticed any pattern to when you get your migraines? Do you get them at a certain time of the month, like around the start of your cycle?
Some women get migraine headaches around their monthly flow because of the change in their hormone levels. If that is your case, you may want to try using some natural progesterone cream and see if that helps to reduce or eliminate your headaches.
You can simply rub some of the progesterone cream on your temples or elsewhere on the days before and during the time you would normally get the migraines.
There are other triggers for these types of headaches. For some it's stress, for others particular foods, etc. It can often be difficult to pinpoint the exact trigger or underlying cause.
I have also known women who have been helped by using the herb Feverfew. I don't know if you can get Feverfew in capsules in your area, but it is usually inexpensive and well worth trying.
I hope one of these natural solutions works for you.
To your good health!Angie
