Pregnancy and Supplements?

Hello. I have a question about pregnancy and supplements.
I am 2 months pregnant and I would like to take the Just carrots, Barley life, Prepzymes, and the Redibeets.
Are these considered safe during pregnancy? Especially the Redibeets since it is also a liver cleanse?
I wasn't sure if that was okay.
Thanks so much.
Hi Jackie,
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Lucky girl. :) I'm always a little bit jealous when I hear of that particular blessing.
Anyway, about the safety of taking the supplements you mentioned during pregnancy, this is what I can tell you.
You should be perfectly safe to use any of the ones you mentioned. I understand your concern in relation to the Redibeets and its detox properties, but if you don't take more than is instructed, you should have no difficulties.
In fact, to be on the safe side, I would suggest that you start with only 1/2 tsp. per day of the Redibeets and work your way up to 1 tsp. if desired. This would be instead of 1 tsp. two times per day as per the label.
I like to mix the three (Just Carrots, Redibeets, and BarleyLife) together in cold water for a refreshing afternoon drink. The three are also referred to as the "Garden Trio" and are best taken on an empty stomach.
As for the Prepzymes, you would, of course, take those with meals or just before. No problem at all there either.
Let me know if you have any further questions. I wish you a healthy, happy pregnancy and much joy in the birth of your new family member.
Blessings,
Angie
