Rana's Apple Vinegar
by HC
I have here Rana's apple vinegar, and I'm not sure whether this is having the same effect as the apple cider vinegar you recommend for detox.
Is apple vinegar the same as apple cider vinegar? Will it have the same detox effect?
Help please...
Dear HC,
I'm not familiar with Rana's apple vinegar and I am unable to locate detailed information on the product, even from the Rana website.
It looks like it may indeed be apple cider vinegar, but I can't tell whether or not it has been filtered or distilled, removing all the beneficial properties.
Not all apple cider vinegar is good for detox purposes. You specifically need raw, organic apple cider vinegar that has the "mother" in it.
Take a close look at your own bottle of Rana vinegar. Hold it up to the light. Does the liquid seem clear or cloudy? If you can see a bit of cloudiness with particles floating around in it, etc., you are most likely looking at raw vinegar - which is what you WANT.
If the vinegar seems like a nice clear liquid, it is probably filtered or distilled and would not have the same detox benefits as the vinegar that is suggested for health purposes.
Take a look at your vinegar and let me know what you discover. Another option is to call the Rana company (there should be a phone number on the label) and ask them if the apple vinegar is raw or distilled.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Blessings,
Angie
