Side Effects of Detoxing with Apple Cider Vinegar?

I am wondering if the boils/blisters which have appeared on the wrist and part of the palm of my left hand could be due to my starting a detox with this vinegar?
Ironic, as it apparently gets rid of same?
Would anyone know if this is possible? I am generally pretty healthy and have yet to have any health issues at all (I am 48).
Thanks in advance; I'd like to clear up this mystery.

Hi Lesley,
That's an interesting question about the side effects of detoxing with apple cider vinegar.
The only side effects I've been aware of are actually positive ones, apart from the damage to the enamel on your teeth if you aren't diluting it in water.
Of course, just because I haven't heard of a particular negative side effect to apple cider vinegar, doesn't mean there are none.
You're right about ACV being a remedy for the skin condition you are experiencing. Strange, isn't it?
My mother-in-law was showing me a very itchy patch of dry skin on the palm of her hand last week. She said she gets it recurring every so many months. (She does use ACV in water each morning and has for a few years to help reduce her cholesterol levels).
She was applying alcohol to the affected area and I suggested that she try applying some of the organic apple cider vinegar instead. She did so, then told me that the rash was completely gone in no time at all.
There's no doubt that each of us have different sensitivities. These blisters or boils you are experiencing may be the result of your detox, or they could be completely unrelated.
Try to
think if you've had any other recent changes in soaps, detergents, etc., in your home or even a new food you've been eating recently.
I assume you aren't on any medications since you said you've been blessed with good health. So that probably rules out a reaction from a combination of the ACV and the chemicals in prescription drugs.
I guess the best way to test your theory about the side effects of detoxing with apple cider vinegar would be to go off the ACV for a while until your hand clears up. Then start back up again and see if you get the same reaction.
I know that's rather tedious, but it may be your only real option.
I will be really surprised if you discover that the ACV is the culprit. Unless you are taking an absurd amount rather than just a little each day, your body really shouldn't be detoxing fast enough with the apple cider vinegar to cause the toxins to be released through your skin in such a harsh way.
Has anyone else experienced these side effects of detoxing with apple cider vinegar? Please chime in and help Lesley out, if you can.
Although I use organic apple cider vinegar for various things on a regular basis, when I want a thorough detox, I use
Herbal Fiberblend for a complete digestive cleanse.
I then use
Herbal Release for cleaning the lymphatic system and
Redibeets for cleansing the liver.
I look forward to hearing back from you, Lesley, when you determine what the real cause of your blisters stems from, whether it be the ACV or something else. Do keep us posted.
To your good health!Angie
