Threadworm in a Infant

Do you know how to cure threadworm in a infant that is still on breast milk? He is under 6 months old.
Hi Amy,
Can you give me a little more information? Is he just under 6 months old or much younger?
Do you know how he came about getting the threadworm (also known as pinworm)? Does someone else in the family have it?
I would normally suggest
Herbal Fiberblend but whether you want to try it with your baby is up to you.
If you do try to get rid of threadworm in a infant using Herbal Fiberblend, please only use a small amount (maybe 1/8 tsp.). The herbs may give them a tummy ache if you use too much.
The herbs have a strong taste, so you'll probably have to mash up the HFB in some banana or applesauce to get it in the child.
Also, keep in mind that it's usually a good idea to treat the whole family for pinworms/threadworms if you are certain that is what you are dealing with, because they are easily passed around and around again if you don't.
I think it would be a good idea to consult your local pharmacist or naturopath for information on a safe and natural treatment for pinworms/threadworm in infants.
To your little guy's good health!Angie
