Using Apple Cider Vinegar for blood pressure...
What is the correct amount of vinegar to take to help lower your blood pressure? My blood pressure is 135/88 and I do not want to take meds.
Thanks,
Sandy
Hi Sandy,
It's true that organic apple cider vinegar can help some people achieve and maintain a healthy blood pressure without any use of medications.
There are different recommendations regarding the amount of ACV to use for the best results. It's my belief that there is no exact amount that will suit everyone as each person responds differently.
As a general rule of thumb, I would suggest that yous start with about 4 Tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar per day, mixed in water or used over salad, veggies, etc.
If you don't like the ACV in water alone, add some raw honey from your local area to make it more palatable and you can enjoy the health benefits that come from the honey while you're at it.
Once you've reached the blood pressure level that you desire, you can reduce the ACV to 1-2 tablespoons per day as a maintenance dose.
If you find that the ACV doesn't do the trick for you and your blood pressure concerns, there are other natural remedies and supplements that you can try that may work for you.
My husband was dealing with high blood pressure and I began giving him
Bear Paw Garlic and
Leaf Greens on a daily basis.
Within several weeks, his blood pressure dropped back down and he felt the additional benefits of better bowel movements and more energy.
Some people will find that by taking some additional Vitamin D3 on a daily basis that their blood pressure will return to normal.
The key is to find what works for you and stick with it. Whether you use apple cider vinegar for blood pressure, Vitamin D3, garlic, a green whole food supplement, or something else, there are many natural alternatives for treating high blood pressure that should definitely be considered in an effort to avoid the negative side effects of typical blood pressure medications.
To your good healthAngie
