Yeast Infection Contagious

Is yeast infection contagious to other family members?
I have a burning crawling feeling on skin and pimple like rash on forehead. Also vaginal burning but, no pain.
My brother is also experiencing burning skin on his back, but no other symptoms.
Hi Claudette,
Yes, yeast infections can be contagious between people. It is more often passed between sexual partners. However, two people who are both exposed to the same diet and external factors can both develop an overgrowth of yeast without necessarily passing it from one to another.
I can't say for sure if that is what you and your brother are both dealing with, although your symptoms particularly sound like it could be from a yeast overgrowth or perhaps another type of bacterial infection.
Other causes for skin rashes/burning can be from allergic reaction or an excessive amount of toxins in the body, particularly the liver.
To help fix the problem, one of the first things you should both try to do is eliminate the sugar from your diet (and processed foods if you eat much of them) for a while.
You should also consider cleansing your system with natural herbs and replenishing the friendly bacteria in your body. These are the suggestions I would make for supplements to help you get the best and fastest results.
These supplements work very well together for the purpose of eliminating yeast infections and other parasite or bacterial issues.
They are all available there in South Africa through our SA Office. If you are interested in trying them, please use one of the
AIM Order Forms provided and I will provide you with a quote based on your location and local currency.
Kindest regards,
